I have worked in the tech industry for over 20 years. In cyber security, in cloud services and in the IT training industry. Working alongside Microsoft Partners and other well-known tech vendors. Moving from sales roles to sales management and business unit leadership roles. I later qualified as a professional trainer -ILM - and have been training and coaching sales and management teams and apprentices in all sizes of businesses from SME to Enterprise. I also mentor social enterprises and NGOs. I am a qualified TEFL teacher and have taught English, Business English and Life Skills in Africa and Asia.
I have seen the changes in decreased focus, less enjoyment, and higher stress levels in the work place and socially, particularly among young people. I now run sessions that help us to be able to resist the pull of being online all the time. Not by use of 'will power' but by 'personal power' Empowering ourselves to make healthier and SMARTER user choices when it comes to devices.

Claire has worked in many well known blue chip companies, including Panasonic, Reckitt, Softcat, along with a portion of her career working for local charities. And as a valued volunteer in the local community. Claire has won Diversity and Inclusion champion of the year award 2022 at strategic PA network, and has worked in L &D and HR functions. Claire has extensive communications experience which she has used to generously donate her time to champion the promotion of the Tech-Outsmart philosophy and events

Lucy has been in the tech industry for over 20 years as chief sales and revenue officer in leading SAAS, PAAS and data management companies. Making a positive impact on numbers, business ethics and culture wherever she lands. Lucy is a huge advocate of 'giving back' and has always lead by example doing loads for the community including having being registered as an NHS first responder. Lucy has been an avid champion of the tech-outsmart philosophy and mission and regularly donates her time to support where ever and whenever she can

Nora runs a small NGO in Rural Tanzania for women and youth, supporting them to build sustainable farming businesses to support their families and communities. Alongside this Nora worked alongside me in 2025 to roll out digital safeguarding at schools in Rural Tanzania and is an advocate for partnering with Tech-Outsmart to rollout healthy online habits as part of her youth programmes.
